Spring break has Sprung
The break, as I tell everyone who asks, was not long enough. One week off after an entire quarter just isn't enough time for my brain to rest. I think it took a couple of days just to be able to speak in complete sentences. But other than that, I had a great time in Louisville. I sort of just picked up where winter break ended. So, here I am on my second day of my new class schedule, trying to waste time in between classes, since I do not have any reading yet. My history class was cancelled yesterday, which made my 9:00 class this morning my first class of the quarter. It just happens to be Indonesian Puppet Theatre- yes, you heard me right! We are required to play with the puppets, drink tea and eat snacks within the first 10-20 minutes of every class meeting. While there will be a couple of short papers due, we will also have to put on two performances for grades. The performance is basically like playing with dolls (as I did as a child) but in front of people. You have to use different voices for the puppets and everything!
