Community Garden

I had this idea. Poof! there it was suddenly in my head. In order to make this whole VISTA experience really mean something to me I knew I could not simply just do what the VISTA before me left behind. That is her legacy. She made our non-profit into a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) site. We do taxes for those that make under $50,000 a year for free because everyone is entitled to it. So great, I get to learn tax law and how to file taxes. It is really a great thing.

But it is not my passion. I love to garden. As I mentioned before, I don't have one of my own. And neither does St. Anthony's, the site of our ESL school and across the street from the Sister Visitor Center. But I'm going to CHANGE that! They have accepted MY idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to do something constructive with my life! Yay!
