Crazy?
Ever wonder if there just might be something psychologically wrong with yourself? This morning sometime before the sun came up I had another one of my spider dreams. If I've never mentioned this before, I have been having dreams with spiders and the occasional bed full of insects since I was in high school. In real life, I'm not that afraid of spiders or bugs. I mean I'm not about to get a pet Tarantula or anything, but I don't freak when I see one on the wall. When I was a kid I even liked to throw ants into their webs so that I could watch them roll them up for dinner (ahhhh, childhood). The first dream, which my mother even remembers for I- well, I'm getting ahead of myself. Back to the dream: the first one never felt like a dream (like all the others to follow), more like I had just dozed off while laying on my back. Next thing, this huge spider (I'm talking the size of a human hand) comes falling from the ceiling right on my face!!! I wake-up screaming. My mother thinks there is an intruder and rushes into my room. There she finds me with the lights on, breathing heavy, shaking my blanks. I glance her way, "Mom!!!! Watch out for the spider!!!!" I yell. It felt SO real.10 years later the same thing continues to happen. Sure I don't typically scream anymore. Most of the time I wake up seeing the spider or, as I mentioned before, various other insects, I tell myself that I'm just seeing things and fall back to sleep. Last night was not one of those nights. Last night was a turn on the light and shake the blanket. Though oddly enough, this morning I had some kind of "bite" on my abdomen. It itches badly I might mention. Maybe I was finally bitten by a spider last night.
