The Young and the Restless
Can you hear the dramatic music yet? As I mentioned before things are rather interesting with this group. The bad thing is, is that it really has cut into the entire experience of being in Vietnam making it hard for me to write about all that I've seen and done. Here is the basics: We (as in all 8 students) are seriously considering charging our professor with sexual harassment. Let me tell you why-- He rearranges our hotel rooms at every stop so that his room is next to my room mates and mine room.
- Then he would come into our room and sit on our beds WHILE we are still getting ready- I'm guessing to watch us put on our make-up or something. And while I know we could and should have said something, it is sometimes hard to say things to a person in a leadership role. Especially if you have a certain amount of respect for them
- He would ALWAYS have to sit next to my room mate on the bus, where ever we ate, even when walking around a city or museum
- I lost my respect for him when he asked just my roommate and I to go get drinks with the former Vietnamese director of the program. When a male student asked to join along he was told that private matters were going to be discussed (so why were asked to come along?) Then he and the other man, basically made us feel like escorts. We were videotaped.
- My room mate was suppose to be his assistant, which is why he had her sit nex to him the entire time- which is why I sat next to her the entire time, because while we waiting for the rest of the group in the airport in L.A. she told me that the professors intentions may be questionable.
- He got up and left us at dinner a few nights ago because my room mate was talking about her child and boyfriend and he felt it was not appropriate. He says because he was raised as a strict Catholic and it is right to speak of such matters with strangers! We are hardly strangers, it was because she was talking about her boyfriend and he is deillusional and thinks they are going to run off together.
- Then a couple of nights ago he made a pass at another female student. She was checking her e-mail and he (while drinking) came up behind her and talked to her about my room mate and would keep dropping his key under her chair to get closer to her.
- My room mate woke up on the bus to find him rubbing her hair and legs.
- Basically he makes all the females feel uncomfortable- throughout the entire trip.

DO IT. everything you've mentioned is sexual harrassment. write it all down.
I say $UE him~ Try to get him to rub your boob as well to seal the deal!! I'm kidding!! old creepy men, isn't it the way of life. I'm not shocked by this, he's very stupid. He should just rent a porno and call it a night instead of acting on it. i'm sorry that pervi is runing it for you! It's almost over! love you!
all 8 of the girls? what did he do to the other 7 girls? I only see the roomate being harassed. the rubbing let is questionable but watching you put on make, and hanging is going to be hard to prove.

guy can read it and do something
foolish to you and the roomate.
i hate to say this....but....not
enough kids on this trip. didn't
and doesn't sound like the china
trip in regards to being upright
and straight-forward. since i can't
talk to you in private, here it is:
don't do anything stupid...he's
not after you. ignore him most of
the time and tell him to get out of
your room, you want to be private.
you and your roomate must be older,
so, that's why the action. i told
you before about asian men liking
blondes(i'm not kidding-most of the
girls that are kidnapped into the
slave market for that reason are
made to bleach their hair....etc.)
he could be taping you guys all
the time since he moves the arrange
ments around about the rooms. if
you feel uncomfortable for any
reason,(listen to your gut feel-
ings-and i'm dead serious about
this) go to the american consulant
or embassy or whatever and stay
there till you can get the first
plane out to nuwe's. remember what
happened to lauren. don't be
STUPID. call me collect or direct
as soon as you get this. i want to
hear your voice, if not, i'll
start making phone calls on my own. i want to know if you are ok,
and the only way i'll know this
is to hear your voice. ok? ok.
